Project summary

The project aims to establish a Swiss national service for research data management based on the openBIS platform.

What outcome does the project address

The outcomes of this project are expected to provide research groups working in quantitative science domains at all Swiss Universities and Universities of Applied Sciences with :

- A professional research data management service either as cloud-hosted version or as a self-hosted version using locally available IT infrastructure

- Training activities so that researchers can successfully adopt the new service in their laboratories

- Extension of the openBIS platform to improve interoperability with other data services, especially national and international research data repositories
