FROM THE PROGRAMME

swissuniversities invites you to the Conference "P-5 Outcomes: Scientific Information Services for All" on 30. November 2021

The conference presents the P-5 program and the concrete services that benefit the entire community in the higher education. During the exhibition part of the conference, attendees will have the opportunity to see demonstrations of the services and talk with project members.

The event will also feature inspiring presentations by international experts in the field of Open Science:

  • Dr. Paola Masuzzo, Data Scientist at TP Vision; Independent Researcher at IGDORE
  • Prof. Dr. Barend Mons, Professor of BioSemantics at the Human Genetics Department of Leiden University Medical Center
  • Dr. Simon Hodson, Executive Director of CODATA

Project submissions for the Open Access action line Communication & Awareness Rising

As part of the Call for Open Access Projects, project submissions for the action line "Communication and Awareness Rising" are still being accepted on an ongoing basis. As a result we strongly recommend you to review the requirements described in this document and to apply if your project is eligible.

OA-EASI project successfully completed

On the successful completion of the OA-EASI project (we reported in the September newsletter), Dr. Aude Bax de Keating talks with project leaders Simone Rosenkranz and Clemens Trautwein about the project, its importance, and the results that benefit the higher education community.  You can watch the video here.

 

Devpro training Research Data Management: From backup to archiving

The Data Life-Cycle Management (DLCM) project team, mandated by swissuniversities, is pleased to announce a new Research Data Management training dedicated to backup and archiving, set up by DevPro. The training will take place on 22 October 2021.
