International Fairs
Swiss higher education institutions are among the most international in the world, not only in terms of their students and research staff, but also in terms of their publications and institutional links. Openness to the world and the promotion of exchange and cooperation are therefore of crucial importance for Swiss Higher Education.
This is why higher education institutions take part jointly in three international fairs every year: APAIE (Asia-Pacific Association for International Education), EAIE (European Association for International Education) and NAFSA (Association of International Educators). These conferences bring together experts in the fields of internationalisation and mobility of higher education institutions from all over the world. They provide Swiss Higher Education with an excellent platform to increase their visibility and intensify their international relations. At the conferences, Swiss higher education instutions can establish new partnerships, strengthen existing collaborations and benefit from the expertise of the various institutions. These relationships enable Swiss Higher Education to remain competitive on the international stage.
To this end and on behalf of the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation (SERI), swissuniversities coordinates the presence of Swiss Higher Education at these three international conferences. The aim is to support Swiss institutitons in their internationalisation mission and to increase their visibility at the international level.
For this reason swissuniversities is organising the information and exchange stand study in switzerland+. This stand will be available to Swiss institutions for their local activities. In addition, swissuniversities ensures the promotion of Swiss Higher Education via the website www.studyinswitzerland.plus and via twitter @studyandplus as well as with various advertising media, such as the video " Why Switzerland+? "or the flyer.
